What is the likelihood of you making a post for spoilery prompts? I appreciate the CNTW policy on the main post very much, but I still think it would be good to have a post specifically for the post-Civil War kinky fic and prompts. I thought about prompting something based on the CW post-credit scene, but it felt awkward doing it on the main post since most people have not seen the movie yet.

Since you've specified that the kinkmeme is open to all MCU properties as well as RPF, what about technically-not-MCU properties that still fall under the Marvel umbrella, like X-men, Deadpool, Fantastic 4, and Spider-Man?

I ruled so far that Marvel comics canon, non-MCU films, and other Marvel-related properties are welcome, if there's also a MCU element to the prompt. However, I'm not against making the meme more Marvel-inclusive. It could easily be a catch-all Marvel kink meme, if people feel like that is needed. I don't really know if X-Men or Deadpool fans, for example, have a kink meme to hang out.

What do you guys think?

Crossover prompts can go to either post, and I will not enforce the division between posts with an iron fist (especially when it comes to Spider-Man). I trust you use the posts as you see best.

Before anyone asks -- I realize "non-MCU" encompasses a lot of different properties, but I'm not going to make different posts for each of those yet, simply because I don't expect the meme volume to be so big as to justify it. If this changes, new posts can be of course made in the future.

Any chance of a discussion post so we can avoid clogging the prompt post with discussion?

Thanks, mod! I don't think people would do the discussion on the prompt post, but I figured it was a good idea to nip it in the bud rather than accidentally encourage the option.

I'm new to this site as well as some of the terms and I had a few questions:

What is RPF? I saw it on the brief rules
What do you mean by embeds?
And does prompt-hijacking mean that multiple people can't fill the same prompt?

Hi, new anon! Welcome to the comm. And thank you for asking! The vocabulary can be a bit confusing at first.

RPF means Real Person Fiction, ie. fanfiction about the actors, and so on.

An embed means posting code that would put a youtube video or a picture in your comment. You can link to anything you want, but it's standard practice to ban embedding, because it can clog up the page and slow it down for some people.

Prompt-hijacking means essentially commenting on an existing prompt and adding more details that you want, instead of posting a new prompt of your own. Multiple fills are more than welcome! :)

Does that mean the OP of a prompt must always be anonymous? I'm used to avengerkink livejournal where sometimes I went anonymous and sometimes I posted under my username.

Yes, all comments are posted as anonymous. You can of course post a link to your username, tumblr or AO3 page if you want to reveal your identity.

How do I get notifications that someone is filling my prompt if I'm anonymous?

If you have a paid Dreamwidth account, you can track a single comment thread, and thus receive notifs from that thread only.

If you're a free user - you can't. I know it's not ideal if you're used to prompting logged-in, but that's a trade-off I decided to make for this comm.

Is there going to be an Infinity War spoilers post? I saw the movie last night and I have so many ideas.

Mod is answering super late: no, I didn't make a spoiler post for Infinity War, or for Ant-Man and the Wasp for that matter. As for future movies, the meme has so little traffic that I don't think separate posts are necessary - marking your prompt with "SPOILERS" should do the trick.

Are you able to put a hyperlink to the fills post on the main prompts page? It's on the home page of the kinkmeme, but not really an easy click away when prompting and browsing.

Assuming, of course, that my phone isn't simply being dumb and not showing me the link.
